The Commission of the Azores Regional Viticultural was formed as an association on 22 August 1995, and his statutes published in the Official Journal ( Series III -N.º 18 - 09.29.1995 ).
The CVR Azores is based in Madalena , Pico and the object of ensuring the authenticity and quality of wines , promotion and control of wine , the definition of its production process and the promotion and internal and external defense of certified wines.
